A young pastor goes through a harsh winter in a small Texas town, where his mission to help the homeless is faced with resistance by his congregation, exposing deep-seated prejudice and systemic failures. Inspired by true events.

Co-written by Peter Brunner and Caleb Landry Jones, the film is rooted in real-life interviews and firsthand accounts of homeless individuals surviving on the streets. More than just a narrative about homelessness, Down the Arm of God is the result of years of direct collaboration with the homeless community – not just as subjects, but as partners and storytellers shaping the film with their lived experiences.
