Nachdem er von seiner Mutter alleingelassen wird, durchsteht unser Protagonist seine Jugend und die Unterdrückung durch seinen Vater. Er verliebt sich, wird erwachsen, findet einen Job und als schließlich alles so zu verlaufen scheint, wie er es möchte, bringt ein einziges Ereignis sein Leben für immer aus der Bahn.

Joschka was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany in 1989. After finishing school, he decided not to take his place at the Berlin university, but instead follow his true passion for creating moving images and sounds. After writing and directing his first short film „Alles wegen des Hundes“ (2008), he started working at a film production company in Hamburg. He kept writing short film scripts and soon directed his second short film „Everything’s so silent“ (2010). One year later he finished his next short film „Back to Solitude“ (2011), which launched his career as a commercial director. He worked for different national and international clients and kept working on short film scripts and music videos. In 2014, preproduction started for his latest short film project „BACKSTORY“ (2016), which was shot over a period of 17 shooting days in 1,5 years. Joschka is currently working on his first feature-length script and lives in Berlin and Hamburg.
