American Pets
Hoch in den Hügeln unter den letzten Resten von Hollywoods goldenem Zeitalter, leben Tod und seine Schwester Lani ein luftiges und bezaubertes Leben in der weitläufigen Villa ihrer Großmutter Judy, einem ehemaligen Filmstar. Tods sorgloses und narzisstisches Dasein nimmt eine dunkle Wendung, als er zufällig (vielleicht) auf Judy schießt und sie sofort tötet. Verzweifelt, um seinen dekadenten Lebensstil zu bewahren, hat Tod den Plan den Tod seiner Großmutter zu vertuschen. Tod gelingt es alle zu überlisten, sogar das LAPD. Zusammen mit Lani folgen wir ihnen, wie sie in den kalifornischen Sonnenuntergang fahren.

Robert grew up in Sweden, and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to attend college. He began his career in Canada working in TV and film as an art director and production designer. His first project as a director won numerous music video awards in Canada, and shortly thereafter, he began directing commercials in the U.S. market. He has helmed a body of award-winning commercials, as well as the much acclaimed art film Vexation Island, with artist Rodney Graham, which opened at the Venice Biennale and went on to play at the Tate and other major galleries around the world. As well as just finishing "American Pets", Robert just wrapped a short film, "Kim and I". He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
